My daughter developed a “sinus infection” last Saturday. No biggie, she gets them, we kept her home. I started to develop sinus issues on Tuesday. Not a huge deal, I get them twice a year like clockwork. By yesterday it progressed and got worse. While FaceTiming my doctor I realized my smell/taste was gone. I had a rapid test and it was positive. Still felling crappy I load up on vitamin c, d, and zinc. Last night I had blisters in my throat and upper mouth. By this morning the blisters were gone but my lungs were rattling somewhat. My doctor on call, called me to see if I needed anything. I explained what was going on and he urged me to go to the ER. After going I was told by the nurse they do the monoclonal treatment but were out of them. The doctor came in and examined me and told me that they had two doses they are required to keep for staff who contract it and he couldn’t in good consciousness allow me to not have it. I received the treatment around 3 this evening, by 5:50 I feel quite a bit better. We will see how it goes.

I think Dr Fauci said cold weather will kill the virus. Move to a higher altitude and see if that helps.

You'll shake it off, you're hillbilly strong!

Glad to hear you're feeling somewhat better. My entire family has been out of quarantine for a little over 2 weeks. My 15yo daughter brought it home from school (we think) as she was just feeling generally bad on a Thursday. By Monday, she and I were full blown... loss of taste & smell, and feeling crappy. Neither she nor I are vaccinated. My wife (vaccinated, due to her many other health issues) took her to her doctor, where she tested positive. I really didn't feel bad, but I had a fever that made me feel bad. I had that fever for over 2 straight weeks...ugh! 3 days later, my wife tested positive. None of us had any breathing issues, but just generally exhausted after minimal exertion. It was almost 3 weeks before I was cleared to return to any of my customer sites, as most have the 72hr no symptom then test negative rule.

From what I and others I know have experienced, as long as you can keep the breathing problems at bay, you're probably gonna be good to go. Good luck... prayers incoming!

Prayers that you and daughter get over the China various very quickly.

Guys, thank you! I know you guys mean it and I cannot tell you how that feels. I have a sister that wouldn’t offer to help for anything. I am feeling quite a bit better. The REGEN-COV (monoclonal treatment) has made me feel quite a bit better. My wife (tested negative again) got a order from Wally World and we are set. Anyone got any good ideas for shows to watch? LOL. Thank you all!

Restless on NetFlix.... 6 episodes about the 2015 PBR season and how Brazilians are becoming a force; which most of us always knew.. but it is like the Hard Knocks episodes on a NFL team.

Cool stuff.

Glad you're feeling better.
Watch CNN and MSNBC and you'll want to get up and get out in no time.

Very glad to hear you are on the mend and I hope all your symptoms resolve soon!

A pattern I have heard from several friends who dealt with it are to keep moving, but to rest when you feel you need it. Kinda hard to put those together, but I hope that makes sense.
