What can you do with a 12ga?

Didn't the old rotary plane engines start like that?

yes they did. Played with something similar on a generator during a class (Navy) back in the early ‘90s

Didn't one of the classic movies have that type of airplane motor where they were stranded in the desert with a downed plane and they used a cartridge to start the engine..... they had to rebuild a flyable plane out of two planes... .I can't remember the name but I swear I remember the scene...

Edit -- Flight of the Phoenix?

I know I’ve read where some big molds were made to be cleaned with either a 10-12G blank or something g bigger. The concussion broke the stuff inside loose

I remember that. The engineer/designer was a toy designer and they used up one of two remaining starter cartridges to clear the chamber.

I have never seen this before and wow that is one cool tractor.
If you ever get a chance, stop by Keystone Tractor Museum up near Colonial Heights, Va. They have two of these in the back room. Super cool. about 300 tractors and big trucks. really cool museum.
