Didn't the old rotary plane engines start like that?
I remember that. The engineer/designer was a toy designer and they used up one of two remaining starter cartridges to clear the chamber.Didn't one of the classic movies have that type of airplane motor where they were stranded in the desert with a downed plane and they used a cartridge to start the engine..... they had to rebuild a flyable plane out of two planes... .I can't remember the name but I swear I remember the scene...

If you ever get a chance, stop by Keystone Tractor Museum up near Colonial Heights, Va. They have two of these in the back room. Super cool. about 300 tractors and big trucks. really cool museum.Log into Facebook
