What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

LPK without FCG from TPSArms. Last one I need to finish a lower........still missing a few pieces but I'm sure I can scrounge up a buffer spring somewhere.

I use a 15 round mag from my 226 in my 229, you mind posting a picture of it in and out of the 229?

Ive ever used a 226 mag, never thought about it! Not sure if the newer model 229s like mine are the same as the older regarding magazines. This is a 229-1.

Here's the 17rd on the L and the 15rd on the R.

It's listed as Sig Sauer P229-1 E2 and M11-A1 17 RD 9mm Mec-Gar MGP22917AFC (MGP22917AFC) = $29.95 from Greg Cote LLC.

I have not fired it yet, but the fit is flawless. I am hoping this thing functions as flawlessly as all factory mags have been in this pistol. I will be getting a complete replacement slide from Sig with cuts/suppressor height sights and a Romeo 1 Pro red dot. I am a full figured girl so concealment should be OK with the right holster.

Hope this helps Guns!

Did you know you can take cheap USGI M9 Mags and with just modifying the position of the mag catch convert them to SIG 226/228 and Taurus 92. Also works in some Turkish 9mm pistols I have down range.

CD

Thanks CD, do you know if that works for post 2010 229s also?

Spent some giftcards and bought 700 rds of 9mm to feed one of my presents to myself that I picked up today: a Sig P210 Target.

How do you like it? Have you shot a Swiss P210? I really like the new P210 but the old ones just felt different to me.

I didn't get a chance to get to the range with it today, but hopefully can at least bang some steel at my dad's with it tomorrow. It feels really good in the hand, and that trigger. Man! That trigger feels nice. I'd say it rivals the GrayGuns competition trigger in my M17.

Ordered 500rds of .25ACP for the missus' new Beretta 21A & a couple of magazines for it on Christmas Day from Midway. Ammo was $15/50 rds & the factory mags were $27/ea. Clicked to checkout & the ammo became $12/box & the mags $19 ea. Figured I'd go ahead order a padded "tactical" case for my new AR with my "savings" while I was at it. Dunno what the deal/sale was with the pricing was about it, but definitely appreciated. And, everything got here yesterday.

Notice when the hammer is back and ready to fire, Slowly apply trigger pressure and Watch the hammer move Backwards to finish cocking before falling forward.
