Today is the 65th anniversary of "the day the music died"
In the song, 'the day the music died' refers to the plane crash on Feb 3rd, 1959, when Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. Richardson where killed after leaving a concert. Don McLean released the song in 1971, when I was a pre-teen.Cool song, brings me back to my teenage years. And 65 years ago I was not yet a teenager. Song is not quite 65 years old, maybe 55.
I remember when I got this album in 1970.
