Whatcha' listening to?

Went and saw them in Raleigh last month. These dudes only get better with age......reminds me of another Prog Rock band from Britain that rhymes with Pink Floyd.

My wife offered to get us (really just me) tickets to the Raleigh show bc she gets great prices through her company. I passed bc I hate crowds but now kinda regret not going. TOOL has been my favorite band since middle school and I agree, only better with age and time. It’s been incredible listening to the change in their style, lyrics, and talent over the years. It’s like I was growing up and maturing with the music and lots of their stuff hits home for me, especially Wings and 10,000 Days.

Anywho, enough of that! The new album is epic!

I’m sure most of you have heard this:

I’ve also watched quite a few “reaction” videos to it, and have really enjoyed seeing the shocked looks on people faces. In one of them, somebody mentioned it was written in 1981, which I never knew. Always assumed it was one of Chris’ songs.

Turns out DAC recorded it first, in ‘81:

And then the Possum recorded it in ‘83:

But then somebody just sent me a link to what might be the best version!!

That pup can sing them sad ol’ country songs.

Caught this one today listening to a Chris Stapleton station on Amazon Music. Nothing like a little country bump-n-grind...

Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids doing Freakish

Ivan Moody 5FDP brought me to this song. I'm not a country music fan , but this is a good song.
Star Wars theme version it's a good video
