And what is the pistol make/model?
Is that person sleeping on a bus?
Dropped his phone down the crack ??
Having unwanted pictures taken of him?
Uncle Mike's nylon holster/CZ combo?
Is he wearing chaps? Are his keys on a lanyard? Do you think he’s hot? Did you give him a pen and some cardboard to make a sign asking for holster money?
So many unanswered questions.
Sleep plus poor holster and application. This is what happens when people chase the bottom dollar with no knowledge. Eh.
Oh, and apparently forgetting which laundry item he cleaned himself with last....
Yeah, my contention was that it's a poor holster...and one that doesn't even fit the gun to boot.
My contention is the major malfunctions here are the fact that he's asleep while open carrying on public transportation while using a poor holster that's not properly sized (doesn't adequately protect the safety or the trigger).
I thought it was a CZ, but I'm not familiar enough to know which one. Anybody know for sure?
I don't know for sure, but it looks like an older CZ 98 or a clone.
Cocked and UN-locked?
Not having any experience with CZ handguns, I googled this. No luck on a "CZ 98"...
Are you even allowed to carry on the bus?
It is not a Zastava CZ99, which has a spur hammer and a frame-mounted decocker.
The gun looks like a Beretta 92 clone; the base of the front of the grip is distinctive, as is the mag release, it has a rowel hammer and there is clearly a lever high on the rear of the slide.
That son of a gun is was hot look at the salt deposits on the side of his shirt.
Sorry, I meant 97 or 97B to be more precise. The older version is the CZ 75.
Based on the appearance of the owner, my guess is it is a CZ.
I think what you are seeing is the physical manifestation of what's commonly referred to in CZ circles as buyer's remorse.
Now you've offended the CZ folks who shoot .45 ACP.
They're CZ people, they're in a semi-permanent state of offense anyways; second only to Glock fanboys in sensitivity.
An electric airsoft gun being charged?
I have a Beretta...the first thing I thought of was the Beretta based on the base of the grip. But the serrations up next to what looks like an ambidextrous safety don't look right. I suppose it could be a clone.
Yeah but,, whats his screen name here?
Pretty sure it's a Beretta. Anyone serious enough to OC should be serious enough to buy a decent holster.
Again...things just seem "off" with the Beretta. It's in the details.
The hammer doesn't look "right".
That shiny spot behind the rear sight doesn't look "right". I'll grant it's likely light reflection off a curved surface of the slide, possibly due to being polished, but it doesn't look "right". The slide on the Beretta is one piece machined in that area, and in the pic there are lines around that spot that just don't jive with a Beretta.
The safety isn't shaped "right".
The slide serrations aren't positioned "right" relative to the safety.
The beavertail doesn't look quite "right".
The magazine release, when you enlarge the picture, doesn't look quite "right".
So, a clone maybe...but which one?
Correct - things are not quite right about the gun. However, it does have characteristics (no logo on the grips, a funny circle at the front of the magazine base, and a strange zig-zag line at the back of the magazine base) that are very similar to the Daisy Powerline 340 BB gun.
Yeah, it's not a " Beretta" 92.
Someone needs to wake him up and ask.
That may be getting closer. But I researched pellet and airsoft guns earlier and didn't find a close enough match.
I have a friend who has dual US/Israeli citizenship. He's here now, but when he was in Israel he spent his military service with Duvdevan. They used Glocks but had the POS soft nylon holsters like that. I know, only because we were shooting together a couple years ago and that's what he was using, and I asked him about it. Me, I never could use one but it did not stop him from being a fantastic shooter.
Looks like a Taurus pt-99
Cocked and I hope locked, but looking at the position of the safety, maybe not locked.
Could be an older cz75 or a Tanfoglio. I thought at first maybe a hi power, but by the looks of this guy a Feg.
Doesn't the Taurus have a frame mounted safety?
I'm thinking he is open carrying because of lack of CWP and from the looks of him, no home to leave it.
What’s wrong with you people?? That’s an assault rifle!!!
Not a poor holster but a piss poor holster. Some little boy going to walk up and pull the trigger.
He looks like a leg shooter to me.
Must be another one of those assault revolvers with a high cap mag we read about recently.
GC70 is correct. It's a Daisy Powerline 340. The little hole at the front of the magazine base plate gives it away. Plus it not having any logo in the grips is another clue.
I agree with respect to the magazine and the grips. But the slide still doesn't match. The serrations on the slide are too far back with respect to the safety.
I suppose this could be a manufacturing difference depending on the year made, though.
Y’all are wrong
