Seen this on forums everywhere so I figure if they can rehash MacGuyver we can do it again. So I will go first.

1995 I was a bored 18 yr old without a girlfriend so naturally in the days before social media and smartphones I did what any computer nerd did in the dawn of the internet age did when he needed validation from peers abroad - joined IRC!
after trying a few "handles" i combined the letters of my favorite rapper KRS-1 with something that sounded like a mythological droid and voila iKaRuS1.

I also answer to iK ickky the chosen 1 and hey asshole

My first post at the old place was a BST for a 1928 L.C. Smith "Field grade" featherweight 16 ga, sold for $1,200.
Woo hoo

Charles is my first name; go by 'Chuck' to a lot of people. The first three letters of my last name are "man." Hence, chuckman.

"Mad Dawg" Madison. My first dog. Madison was a blue-tick beagle and she would run around playing with other dogs like a "Mad Dawg" A friend of my at the time coined the name for her. I have used ever since.

Beef was a HS girlfriend's code when talking about me :D.

Later independently adopted as a nickname by a group I ran with that had nicknames for everyone.

Might be vaguely related to my given name also.

Catfish was my dad's reluctant nickname at work. He wore a handlebar mustache and whenever it would rain his wax would wash out and his 'stache would droop down and look like catfish whiskers.

I got the name n in 80"s when friends stated calling me DJ Magic Mike. First forum I went to around 2007 that name had been taken,, so I went with the J instead of the G in Magic,, now most of my old friends just call me Majic

as my legend grew they made a couple movies about me, I haven't seen the walking dead but after hearing a couple comments in other threads someone in the show must have wanted to be me

Found out years ago that my ancestors originated from the Wallace Clan. I.e. William Wallace of the movie Braveheart. I like it cause it harkens my first known (to me) family tendencies to strive for freedom no matter how much the movie trumped it up.

i like zombies and i have a hound, and i thought zedhound sounded cool.

Mine is real imaginative. My initials and Sr because I have a jr and 1. I ain't the brightest one around so its easy to remember

After the last 5 days is there really any question????

The sound of my phone buzzing with texts every 2.5 seconds at midnight lulls me to sleep now.

Some forum long ago forced me to keep adding n's to get a username. Very exciting.

I should have warned you about that part. Be glad you're not on the basement call list. It ain't real pretty sometimes.

I was listening to The Doors on the way to work the morning I registered. Kinda a tribute to one of the greatest musicians evah! Long live the Lizard King!

And I can't but the group text on "do not disturb" because my iphone is so old they hadn't invented that feature yet. I had to tell my wife this might require the purchase of a new phone just to shut y'all up. lol

I used to go by six8 because that was my most recent purchase at the time I was looking for a gun related username, but I also have a 270 that I have owned since 1988 and killed many deer with, so changing to the decimal measurement of both seemed appropriate.

Nope don't want to either. Just the stalwarts that have no life apparently

Uh... I used to build drums... and McKenzie is my last name... I still play them on occasion so it's more of a verb than a noun thing now I suppose.

fieldgrade I bet that's not the only thing you are used to getting from 8 guys for 12 hours.

I used to teach rock climbing as a summer/part time job. Was in to multipitch trad climbing, general mountaineering, downhill skiing, and even tried ice climbing a few times. Climbed several 14'ers while in Colorado too.

Everyone on Ft. Jackson had a email address that was First Initial, Middle Initial, and the first six of your Last Name. It's easy to remember so I use it for everything out of pure laziness.

Hammer was an old Army call sign 21b was my MOS as a Combat Engineer.

Mine came from when I was trying to register on a site for Texas Instruments when I was working on a project. Then insisted that i complete this survey and I was not the mood, so I put in "No Way" as one word as in there is no way I am going to fill this damn thing out. It said that was already taken, so I added the number 2 and the rest is history, but the name stuck.
