Who's holding out for a Holosun EPS?

Yeah that's odd, I'm pretty sure my 507 came with 2 sets of screws.
Just looked in the box my 407K came in and there was another set in there that looked like they would work. I gave it a shot and they worked perfectly and now the optic is mounted nice and low on the slide like it should be.

Good stuff. Im surprised sig didn't include any screws for mounting optics. I have 6 sets I think the holosun came with 2 and the m&p came with two plus the c&h plates set.

pants on head retarded
still gonna buy one tho
It’s definitely a great optic, just can’t fathom why they couldn’t include 2 sets of screws, knowing damn well that the majority of these things are gonna go on guns that don’t require the plate.

What are the specs on that light?

And since you have an “in” with Holosun, let them know how retarded it is to not include the proper length screws with the optic.
I don't have a lot of specs on the light yet. It came in a holosun box with my name on top. I can tell you it uses a 18350 battery.

I'll pass the screw thing on to my contact.

Interesting. I’ll have to keep my eye out for one and give it a shot when they come out

Its because they have absolutely no idea what length they would be. 10mm though.

😂

The other thing I can add is that it comes with a cable that allows you to charge the battery on the light without battery removal. It has two small charging prongs on the bottom.

@Derek8404 you had a chance to shoot your new set up?
Yup, shot with it last week and It was uneventful and pretty easy to get dialed in. Pretty much what I have come to expect from Holosun. This is my first green dot and in did like it a lot. Very easy to pick up in this environment. The built in notch doesn’t do much and you can just barely see the top of the front sight.

I suppose that's enough for a BUIS. Any experience comparing the notch to a 407k?

Yeah I have one of those as well, and it would probably be the same as this one, but I have my 407k on a milled slide so it has iron sights and they are really easy to see through the window.

I've been carrying my 507c at work...not because I want to but because Aimpoint and HS can't seem to produce enough of what I want. I was all set for an Acro P-2 for the G19 and EPSc for the 365 but I can't ever find them. I'll see posts on r/gundeals or r/gafs but never catch it in time.

I knew there had to be a reason for the K footprint, but never would have figured it was what he pointed out. Makes sense.

Also, I think Aaron got fatter.

Basic iron sights. I don't like complications. Dot are complicated.

Nemo
Sights- Align three points of reference, rear, front sight and intended hole. Have front sight in focus, rear sight and intended hole out of focus.
Dot- Focus on target, place dot over intended hole.

Man, you guys cost me so much money.... that SCS is intriguing, and solves about 3 problems for me, and I can get a green dot and use my 507k on something else.

I never even knew about the SCS and I liked it that way.

@Derek8404 - after your time behind the EPS, would you say it's worth waiting for over the 407k? I still haven't seen anymore come in stock and I'm kinda tired of waiting.
Eh, it’s nicer than the 407K for sure, but I know if it worth holding out for, for who knows how long till they can get back in stock. My 407K works just fine on my 43X.

Any hope I had that these things (EPS Carry) would be available and on sale for Black Friday is pretty much dashed. Can’t find them in stock anywhere and it they are in that much demand they probably won’t go on sale. Dang.

Optics planet has them in stock now. You can use a black friday code for 12% off.
Debating it now. I traded my Sig Macro for a hellcat rdp and don't really care for the sentinal swampfox that came with it. Really want to at least shoot the gun before I buy another optic but I am tempted.

Optics Planet shows the EPS as shipping in 1-3 months.
They must be being made in the factory right next door to the iPhone factory.

That means a distributor shows them as in stock or backorderable, so OP will drop ship. I HIGHLY doubt they’re actually in stock at OP. This is why they get such a bad rep, and it’s their own fault.

Sorry. I just saw that it had add to cart. Didn't notice the "check product availability" tab. So 23-33 days for green 6 MOA.
That really is a crappy way to list things.
