Why are the Henry X Models so difficult to find?

I got my big boy x in .357 by going to several of the big box stores like Sportsman’s Warehouse and signing up for the email notifications when it’s back in stock. It took me a couple times because I don’t check my email but a couple times a day and they disappear quickly. If you aren’t in a hurry, this is what I suggest. Waiting is defiantly better than pay gunbroker prices. They are ridiculous!

I imagine that Marlin is going to be very difficult to get and really expensive for a few years. The 45/70 SBLs are becoming more available but the price is still higher than I’m willing to pay.

I don’t know if you have any Henrys, this .357 was my first one. I was always a Marlin fan. But I’ve been very happy with the purchase. So much so, I’m saving for the Big Boy X in 45/70 now.

I've just got the H001 (standard rimfire) but I love it. Stupid fun. I've been in the market for a deer rifle and originally wanted a bolt (Bergara B-14 HMR 6.5cm) but the lever guns are too cool, and I don't "need" the range of the 6.5cm anyways.

Yea they are hard to find, expensive, and have ape like LOP.

I’m patiently waiting on a decent Turkish lever gun in 44 magnum that is threaded under $500.
I’m surprised it hasn’t been done yet.

I took my 357x out to my non-shooting buddy’s property the other week to shoot. He doesn’t own anything but a double barrel 12ga but after shooting mine suppressed he’s tasked me with finding him one.

I got mine a couple years ago for MSRP by setting Reddit notifications. Now the notifications don’t work and I can’t find one for him anywhere.

The Turks are making a 357 lever gun, but wholesale is well over $500. Don’t think you will see your price point.

Try setting up notifications on Sportsman’s warehouse. That’s how I got mine for a tad under MSRP.

What the Turkish name? I’ve missed that one.

G Force Huckleberry. They came out a couple months ago. We’ve sold three of them. Cheapest pistol caliber lever gun option around, beating even Rossi.

How did the wood look?
Anything close to the one on their site.

I’ve encountered the Model X several times on Sportsman website, in all calibers. I always check around midnight and they have them. Just something you’ll need to continue to monitor, keep a tab on your phone, refresh it.

I have no way to prove this, but it's possible majority of production is going to the ban states. I know a few folks that can't buy semis anymore but they're still buying guns. They've turned to pumps and levers.

Henry does make a box magazine fed lever gun

Is this part of some Instagram trend and the new availability of MLOK rails? I've been trying to get a Henry X Model 30-30 for a while and I never see them except for stupid prices on GB.
Watch gun deals on Reddit and or Gun Deals.

^This^ Is The Way …

ETA: of all the vendors that show them In Stock and Ready To Ship to your FFL, the only one I’d feel 100% comfortable dealing with is Sportsman’s … (they will probably become scarce again mid-summer leading up to 2024 hunting season across North America)
