Wouldn't it be nice if someone made a holster that had a place for a set of plugs. Here at the old woodland homestead in the boonies a handgun is a tool, much like a hammer or a screwdriver. Right now this one is loaded with copperhead shot. Over the course of the summer I'll kill a half dozen or so around the place. Given a few seconds I'll plug my ears before the shooting starts. With all of the hundreds of holsters, including the tacti-cool, and customs, I have never found one that has a simple means to store a set of earplugs. Maybe those goofy looking soft ones with a mag pouch or something, but nothing else. I guess I'm the only one that routinely uses a handgun during the course of the day. Anyway, until I find something I'll just have to improvise. :)

I'm in the yard and woods all day. I want to grab the gun and head out the door first thing. I can barely remember putting my head on straight when I get up. And I hate things hanging around my neck.

You need something like this with a small half pocket where my ear plugs box is setting. Maybe a simple strap across the top to insure plug box don't fall out. This is just rough spit balling on the fly.20240317_144414.jpg20240317_145459.jpg

Great idea for a workin' man's holster.

How about stick-on Velcro? Hooks on a Kydex holster, loops on the earplug round box. I've found it lasts a fairly long time if it isn't ripped on and off frequently.

Surefire EP4... just attach it to belt loop beside the holster or put it in your pocket...

I know I could carry them in my pocket and such but I know they will not be there when I need them. I just want to grab the gun and go. The Velcro idea @Windini is something I may have to consider. I have some "industrial" strength Velcro that I may try. Hmmm... ;)

What if you cut a piece of plastic or something else in the red shape. Put a longer screw through that into the holster. Attached the ear plug case to it with glue, a screw, or whatever you choose?
