I have some sort of bug or something. Massive headache, joints are very sore(just my knees), very tired, lots of drainage, lots of sneezing, but at least there’s no fever.
I’m avoiding the mat tonight, but I still got in a workout this morning. My work out went fine, just felt drained the whole time and really had to push/will my self through it.
I think I’m just going to finish my dinner and go to bed at this point.

Good call. Rest up, fuel up, hydrate and let your immune system get to work. Get well soon!

Sounds like the crud I picked up flying across country last week.

Slept like crap for a couple nights with stuffy head, runny nose, and just achy all over. I dragged myself out for a trail run/jog/waddle and thought I might die. Went home and slept better than I have for years. Woke up the next day feeling much better.

I slept like crap last night, I feel like crap this morning. We had to leave the house at 4:45 this morning to head out to the 4h regional shooting competition. I made the wife drive, I slept decent on the way down.

You need to take a Covid test! That’s the same symptoms I had when I had Covid. Jus sayin…

If I feel I'm getting sick I'll hit it real hard ASAP. If I wake up feeling like crap then I'll rest. The theory is some immune fighters do better under high temp, so if you feel on the verge of getting sick I recommend a hard session. I've kicked things numerous times that way...but if you don't catch it early enough then no dice.

Only thing that really keeps me out of the gym is a pounding headache (non hangover related), severe body aches or extreme nausea.

When I'm feeling over a 100* temp I'll just go into my garage gym and do some fatman yoga and foam rolling, bodyweight movements and a poop ton of banded face pulls, band pull a parts and banded tricep pushdowns and call it a day after 30mins.

Working out when sick usually expedites head drainage for me, and forces me to breath deep. I'm a fan, but I try not to be stupid about it, adjust based on reaction.
