Yeah... I've seen some of his videos. He can be entertaining, but he often goes for the controversial. After you cut through all of the bluster, did he make any good points?

I like him. He's a super left leaning liberal gun lover, and that gives him a very interesting perspective.

I'm a fan of the .45 ACP. I love my recently purchased Shield 45, as well as my STI 1911 Spartan. Just curious if the Yankee Marshal had any good points, or if he was talking out of his backside. 
I've chatted with him a few times on gunchannels.com. He loves the attention from being controversial. He believes most of the stuff; I saw him defend a $15/hour minimum wage in a pretty heated argument once.
At the end of the day, I take his gun opinions with a major grain of salt. He is collector of firearms, but not a shooter of firearms.

I get the impression that he titles and posts to youtube in order to make his click bait worth clicking. nothing generates hits like controversial statements. "why _(insert a popular gun, caliber, etc here)___ sucks" draws them in quickly. i would wager he makes a good bit of coin from YT.
I think he used to be funnier than he is these days. He gets a lot of hate mail apparently for the controversial statements and now he comes off more bitter in his comedy. Not a fan.

I've watched several of his videos. He's a revolver guy, I'm a fantastic plastic guy, so I actually enjoy listening to his complaints around striker fired weapons and thumb safeties and seeing things from another perspective. While he is entertaining, It's pretty rare for me to take any youtuber's opinion as gospel. Except maybe for hickcock45....he's fun to watch, reminds me of my best friend's dad sometimes.
