Your favorite PCC?

Probably not gonna be the most popular pick for some - but I absolutely love the Kalashnikov KP-9 or KR-9
Here is why
1. Utterly reliable - shooting reloaded ammo or factory, steel brass and aluminum cases
2. Easy to work on - compatible fire control group with any standard AK / AKM, some other parts also interchangeable as well
3. Quality mags - yes they are proprietary but they work and KUSA runs specials on 5 packs all the time
4. Accurate out well past 100 yards

We use this in competitive events , even at rifle matches. At least 10K down the tube so far

Other PCCs that we own currently or have owned in order of how i rate them
Ruger PC carbine
PSA AR9
Kel Tec Sub 2K

I love my MechTech Systems. It's chambered in .40 and and uses a Glock lower so it has commonality with my handgun when i carry the PCC. I have a reddot on it so it's basically a point and shoot affair.

I sold it off, but the B&T APC9 was my favorite I ever owned.
Currently I favor a home build AR9.
I've shot Scorpions and they felt a little like toys, but I can see why someone would like them.
I've also shot a 9mm Tavor. That was a fun gun for sure.
Last, but not least, the CX4 is a nice package that looks a little weird and has an unfortunate trigger. If I could get my hands on an aftermarket trigger I think the CX4 could be my favorite.

My first experience with a PCC was with a buddy's suppressed Scorpion. Fell in love with it instantly. I knew I had to have one. I've shot other PCCs and own an AR9, and honestly some are better shooting than the Scorpion, but that first experience left a lasting impression.

As it's my only one at the moment, my Springfield Saint Victor.
Still trying to determine its favorite ammo, but it hasn't sputtered, or failed to function in any way yet.

My favorite is a PSA ARV 9mm I got used from a member here. I have put THOUSANDS of rounds through it including hand cast and coated hollow points and have had zero jams or misfires. It uses scorpion mags or the PSA mags which I prefer at $10-$12 each. I also have a Ruger PC Carbine that is sexy and I like but haven’t hd it long enough to know for sure and it’s twice as long and twice as heavy so not apples to apples. I’m building a bufferless 16” 9mm now also but it isnt done yet.
Edit: I have a Kriss 45 pistol also that I do love and have fired a lot but since the brace thing it’s not as fun to shoot.

It's possible we forgive you but we'll need some eye candy
Ofcourse, don’t mind me awaiting the return of a form 1 for it. Then I’ll probably ask cff friends what they recommend for stocks. I know some enthusiasts aren’t huge fans of the top welded rail, which I understand. I’m sure I’ll try to take advantage of it at some point.

You can try this

I just discovered that this weekend. Seems there's a 32 pound pull weight to charge the gun with that installed. I've got a forward charging gun, so maybe not a big deal, but with a rear charger this could seriously suck.

Yeah with a Tee charging handle you would need fingers of steel!

It’s really hard to top the form factor of the MP5 and AR9 based platforms, especially with a stock. I’ve not shot a Scorpion though, so I can’t compare to it.

The MP5’s paddle mag release provides for very fast mag changes. It’s one major drawback is the lack of a last round bolt catch.

And thinking about it further, it's possible the rod in the forward charging gun wasn't meant to overcome that additional weight either. Probably best to let others test and report back.

Have a couple of AR9's that I built, love them, but another that I love just as much but is more practical is my Ruger PCC's.
I have a few, and have plenty of Glocks and SR9's to compliment them, which is a major plus in my book.

Currently I have an Extar EP9, Sub2k, and a Beretta CX4. I love them all in their respective roles. I'd have to say the CX4 is the bees knees though.

Beretta CX4 Storm hands down, I have owned or own Hi Points and KelTecs but the Beretta was the gun that triggered my love for PCCs. Soft shooting, easy to aim, simple breakdown and reliable. Plus it looked cool enough to get a movie role!
What's the movie?

Have owned/shot the Sub9, Sub 2k Gen 1, Sub 2k Gen 2, Hi Point Carbine, MPX, and put rounds through a Scorpion. So far, the best overall is the MPX IMO. However, the price point is horrible.

Still in production: Any lever gun in pistol calibers.
2nd would be any MP5 variation.

EDIT: I actually responded to this thread in July....just noticed.
