Your latest alcohol purchase

Been buying $25 Rye's. Wild Turkey and Old Forester are the best of the bunch in my opinion. May buy a Whistle Pig if I get that $1000 check. Mark my words, the ABC's stores will be closed before all this corona crap is over. Either by Governor direct order or by shelter in place order with ABC's stores being deemed non essential. The Gubenor and his ilk arent concerned with the availability of booze or food. They will just send out the HP or SS to requisition their supplies.
Grab a bottle of Rittenhouse and Old Overholt BiB

Had to get the wife something to drink and got me something that I have not had before.
Can you guess who got which one?

Seen a pic that @thrillhill posted in the firebowl thread with a bottle of Knob Creek. Thats why I grabbed a pint of the small batch friday just to try. It is currently my favorite pour. Dang it is smooth!

About to get a “shelter in place” order for Wake County. So being part prepper, I added these to my “shelter in place “ supply. Cheers!

Had to make a choice today, Pappy 23 or ...............While you're drunk out there, I am going to have a clean ass!

Got the cheap stuff for the family during this crap. The kids are back.
Red Velvet
American Vodka
Low priced coffee liquor.
Kirkland Irish Cream.
Still have some high octane Chinese rice liquor left too.

I don't drink anyway. And for cocktails, one doesn't waste high dollar booze. [emoji1][emoji16][emoji38][emoji28][emoji1787]

Once would never use Don Q Gran Anejo in a rum and coke.

I had to go look for some meat today and the grocery store that was across the street from Walgreen's and as luck would have it, 2 doors down from Walgreen's is my package shop.

SCORED
Grocery Store: pork chops and Brunswick Stew
Walgreen's: Aloe skin cream
Package shop: Blantons, BT store pick and Weller's Green Label. BT & Weller's in in the closet.

nothing fancy - bulleit rye, new amsterdam london dry gin, and a big ol' bottle of sailor jerry

It's been nearly a year since I had a bad report from a doc and gave up drinking -
Until a friend committed suicide late last year and I picked up a small bottle of scotch to have a sip in his honor.
Most of that small bottle remains, but I picked up a bottle of Everclear and a bottle of Four Roses Small batch. For emergencies.
It's residing above the fridge where it shall stay.

While I still can buy a bottle or 2 I am. I mentioned to my son how I like the Baker's 107 and he said that he could not find it in Atlanta so I went to my favorite package shop and they were out. Had them look on the computer at their other store and they had 5 bottles. Ended up getting 2, one for me and one for my son. When I got home I did not think they looked the same as the first one. Both are Baker's 107 aged for 7 years. But the first one is a single barrel. I hope the ones that I bought today are as good as the first one.

Just a bottle of Jack Daniel's, my mother in law is dying and I intend to have a toast to her when the day has come.

Been riding the peat train a lot lately. Picked up a new Octomore, Ardbeg 10 is a cool tin, and
A committee release of Arbdeg Blaaack. Yes, it’s spelled that way and I can’t wait to try it. Cheers Amigos!

Have some friends up around Asheville that are down visiting for the weekend. They brought me some cool bottles including a Jack Daniels' from Belize that is a duty free exclusive. Not a bad haul.

Color me jealous! Would love to find any EH Taylor, Stagg, or Weller!

He’s gotta bring it out to me still. He
How is it? I seen some reviews on it.
he’s gotta bring it out to me still. He just picked it up yesterday and he’s out of state. Iva had bottles amid the 2012 ten year anniversary and the 2014 already and both were amazing. One of those good after dinner sippers around a fire when it’s cold out

Peat-Unpeated-Peat. If you ever see either one of these, I recommend grabbing them. The Laphroaig is a yearly release. Once it's gone, it's gone. The Tamdhu is a super small
distillery with limited distribution. Super good juice. I have both of these and tracked down more. Cheers!

About the time I posted the above, this gem showed up. I waited over 3 weeks for this. I'm a big Ardbeg fan and this is supposed to be one of their best. Screw the
virus! Today is a good day! Cheers friends!

I know its early but I'm sipping some Ancient Ancient Age and its tasty especially for the price!!!

OK, it is not what I bought but what should I buy. I getting a bunch of bottles together to stock the lake house. So far I have about 11 bottles (mainly 1.75s) most are not open. They might have been in back of the closet for a couple of years. I have a bunch of vodka, rum, some gin and tequila. Also, got a couple bottles of bourbon and blends. What I am missing is a 1.75 of a single malt scotch that will not break the bank. I have some .750 and one liters at home but no 1.75. I am open to suggestions for a mid-price scotch that comes in a handle bottle.

Rules of the lake house is, if you bring a bottle and it is not finished it stay at the lake house.

Just got these today. One is for the lake house and the other is for my belly. Guess which one is going to the lake house. The Baker's is very good.

Found a bottle of Old Forester 1910 on our ABC store's allocated purchase shelf (one bottle per car per day off this shelf, no matter how many different kinds of liquor are on it). Never tried it before. Will tonight and report back.
