I'm curious. I'm Scottish purebred by descent. And I prize my uncommon whiskeys.

What are the most prized bottles that you have?

Mine are these:

The 105 because it's lovely and no longer available in NC.

The McAllen because it was a random gift to me at my wedding as well as my mother's (deceased) favorite bottle. (I have one double a year for my anniversary in her honor.)

The Three Wood because it's from the region of Scotland I'm descended from.

The Jameson 18 because......mate it's Jameson 18.

The Maker's Mark because it wasn't available anywhere but my county and it's BEAUTIFUL.

The Chemist Navy Strength because it was the best NC distilled liquor I tried on my honeymoon.

The Lagavulin 16 because it tastes like the Scottish home i never saw.

And the Monkey 47 because it's the best gin I've ever tasted and it makes my wife ridiculously happy.

So show me yours and tell me the whys.

Please and thank you.

Both Macallan and Lagavulin are indeed some priced possessions, the first I acquired from a dear friend returning to the Fatherland, it had been a gift from his late parents but he was not much into Scotch. We took care of that for him, Cheers!
