If you watched certain YouTube videos, investigators demanded your data from Google
Shared YouTube data prompts civil liberty worries.
mashable.com
TL : DR
Google was ordered to hand over: names, addresses, telephone numbers, user activity and IP addresses of folks that viewed certain videos.
The authors are are unable to tell if they complied, but this does not seem to be the first time they requested such data.
And, of course' Google cares about your privacy and does the upmost to protect it [/sarcasm]
Say Google didn't comply, what is to stop the government from paying for that data under the guise of being an advertiser?
Don't even need a warrant for that option
They probably already do this 🤷‍♀️
