Zastava M85 suppressed

What stock is that? I have the same gun that I got the form 1 back on recently. It had an AR buffer tube and brace from the factory so now it has an AR stock, but that just doesn’t look right.

Just say no to AR hardware on AK's.. Its A VZ 58 stock. . Because of the angle at the back of the Yugo underfolder guns ( Thats what the M85/M92 are ) you have to use a 6 degree wedge to get the right cant to the stock. Stormwerx makes the wedge and you sandwhich it between the stock mounting plate and the receiver and through drill it , its aluminum, for a retainer bolt. . You also have to drill the hole in the trunnion higher. I used a 3/8 flat head socket head bolt that I shaved the head down a bit to better fit in the stocks bolt recess. and a nut on the inside on the other side of the trunnion. Bolted everything together and drilled for a roll pin so it wouldt rotate. The wedge needs to get notched for the VZ 58 stock because the 58 uses a rib to keep it from rotating on the original VZ58 receiver. Its easier than it sounds. PXL_20210915_170613100.jpg.
