You know what irritates me....having a "Led Zeppelin" station on Pandora that plays more Rolling Stones than Zeppelin. Seriously...Jagger and Richards couldn't hold Plant and Page's mic stands.

I used to think that and then I get Exile on Main Street when I finsihed my basement. That album is good. Their newer stuff I can do without though. They've did some good music.
 
Battle of evermore and cashmere are great song as well as three or four songs on lz4,but they don't come.close to sister morphine or gimme shelter,the stones whole body of work, outshines led Zeppelin. That being said neither, comes close to either version of AC/DC,
 
Never understood the appeal of the Stones. There are a few songs that won't cause me to change the station.
 
Everything any of you ever heard on the Classic Rock stations by either band I heard when they were new releases.

I like them both,

...and get off my lawn.
 
I never really enjoyed zeppelin, just not my thing. All about the yardbirds, liked The Who, the stones and ac/dc. Once drove all night to get to and return from a Who concert.

And if we're branching out, went through a ska phase and have enjoyed reggae and soca for several decades.

Seriously, between the two, I will always go with Zeppelin

I have listened to and enjoyed all of the bands in this thread. I like them all.

But Zep destroys the Stones completely.

And Angus kicks a$$!

Queen or Skynyrd.
If we're talking 'classic rock' those are my 2 go-to bands

Dang, we lost two great bands far too soon ( and dont try to sell me on that later LS stuff or the time when Queen toured with that one boy...terrible)

Im not pretty enough for him to be into me so I would like to hang with queen, The stones or the Beetles when they were a little younger and had all the US late teen early 20's girls all over.

I imagine the roadie side action was pretty amazing too.
