Head of Biden’s EPA?
Have you ever used crushed walnut for tumbling media?I went today. Was pretty disappointed. For one, there were far less tables. Two, there was only one kinda half assed table for reloading stuff. Just powder, not the good stuff, and very overpriced. I'm used to seeing several tables. I just wanted to buy one of those big bags of ground pecan shells or corn cob that one table always sold. I had no intention of buying anything else. It was amusing to look at the ammo prices though. Range level 9mm was going for 80-90cents a round. The sad thing was... people were buying it.
Hmmm, thanks! I'll have to try. I've only ever used corn cob but I really don't care what I use as long as it works. I'll have to see if our local pet store has anything when I go get the dog's food.Have you ever used crushed walnut for tumbling media?
Pet stores sell it for reptile bedding, works well with some nu finish polish when tumbling brass.
Cheap to boot

Walnut media is all I use. Bought 25 pounds a few years ago and I’m very satisfied. Nu Finish works great.Hmmm, thanks! I'll have to try. Looking for a show report. If any of you went, how was it? Decent offerings, on nice older stuff? How about the crowds, prices, etc??I'm planning on going, who else?
Crowd was actually less than usual. Any kind of high capacity firearms were expensive, as was the ammo for them. Hunting firearms and ammo was not too bad. Military surplus arms are getting higher and higher.Looking for a show report. If any of you went, how was it? Decent offerings, on nice older stuff? How about the crowds, prices, etc??
No wonder you couldn't find any deals !@I’llBeYourHucklberry, his girlfriend and I were trying to find her to get a picture
Her and a guy bought a handgun, then they were gone.

The pet stores also sell corn cob media for reptile bedding. I use the walnut for cleaning the nasty stuff and corn cob for polishing.Hmmm, thanks! I'll have to try. Has managed to squash the very last little drop of enjoyment Out of shooting.who knows every gun and every round of ammo because he has a spread sheet on everything.when he shoots he enters number of rounds and caliber and type and brand that he shot.

And you dang sure had better not have it on at the table.Who looks at other people’s hat logos?
And how did we get to the point where wearing a hat indoors is OK? <-(I realize that is an old-man rant. Most folks don’t even know of a time when men wearing hats indoors was impolite).
I remember those times. I also remember a time when wearing a mask was suspicious behavior.Who looks at other people’s hat logos?

But, but, but... I got my hat from you.All this hat talk can any of you remember when the "trend" actually began. Let's just say what decade?
The first ones I remember seeing folks that had No Connection with the "product" was.....CAT.....very few folks I knew had catapillers, everybody had the hats.
Funny you should mention "CAT" hats, I worked at the CAT dealer in Raleigh during the 70's and would purchase a box of CAT hats and would take them to my daddy's store back home and he would sale them. They were very popular back then. All this hat talk can any of you remember when the "trend" actually began. Let's just say what decade?

I don't remember folks wearing them before that. Farmers certainly didn't. They wore real hats. Had to be mid 70s when the cap craze began.Funny you should mention "CAT" hats, I worked at the CAT dealer in Raleigh during the 70's and would purchase a box of CAT hats and would take them to my daddy's store back home and he would sale them.
