Hello to both of you.
As of last year, June 1 2020, Nevada has stopped honoring North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permits. To the best of my knowledge, the requirements for a CHP in NC still meet or exceed all the requirements needed for NV to honor our permits, and their license requirements meet or exceed ours. Since NV reassess reciprocity with other state licensing agencies on a yearly basis, it seems likely that there was some communication issue which caused NC permits to stop being honored in NV, perhaps even something as simple as the office of the NC AG failing to respond to a request for information in a timely fashion. As you are the representatives for my district, I ask that you investigate how this happened and take the appropriate steps to ensure that we regain reciprocity with NV in 2021.
This issue is important to me because... .... ....
Thank you for your attention, and I hope we can see this so-called-privilege of interstate travel while in possession of a concealed handgun restored soon.
Your constituent,
