Off the beaten path movies

"Thursday" is one of my favorite obscure movies. I think you can find the full movie on youtube.

Do they have to be good? I like bad movies.

Good:
Chinese Ghost Story 1,2,3
Tale of a Vampire
Undisputed 1, 2, 3, 4
The Sting
Fright Night(the original)

Bad:
Encounters from the Spooky Side
Crippled Avengers(or basically anything by the Venom Mob)
Space Mutiny
The Magic Sword
Agent Super Dragon
Moon Zero Two
Star Force: Fugitive Alien 1,2
Surf Nazis Must Die
Mr. Vampire

If you like British mysteries, Gosford Park is excellent.
Yes another good brit mystery series is Kenneth Branagh's "Wallander" about a Swedish detective....I very much enjoyed all three seasons.

I know this is about recommending off-the-beaten-path movies, but I want to give a WARNING about an OTBP movie
(again, this thread seems like its about B movies, not just movies that are old lol)

Started wating Iron Sky last night.
Neat idea - Nazis fled to the Moon during WW2 and have been building up their forces, ready to unleash in 2018 (movie made in 2012).

I made it 20 minutes in, approximately.
-The US President (seen in the trailer above) is VERY Sarah Palin-esque
-There is a parody of the internet-famous Hitler video...you know the one like @The Green Heron made etc
-And apparently on some parts on the moon you'll need your space helmet and on others its all good, just breath like normal...

I didnt even get to the Nazi attack, I couldnt.

Watch at your own risk, this is a warning.

Fist of The North Star, a real snoo....er...sleeper.

<snicker>

The original Repo Man (Emilio Estevez Harry Dean Stanton)
Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels

and of course, True Romance..."You got me in a vendetta kind of mood."

So very quotable.

I enjoyed Hell Ride. Motorcycle gang flick with David Carradine, Michael Madsen, Dennis Hopper, and Vinnie Jones. The tag line is "BIKES, BABES AND BLOOD!" How could you go wrong?

Bug
Got Ashley Judd and this other guy you'll recognize and Harry Conick Jr.

Creepy movie about drugs and a bug infestation. More drama than horror.
A bit slow, but worth one watch in my opinion.

Another movie I always forget about but love to watch is Lucky Number Slevin. I don't know why it wasn't more popular than it was. Stars Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Ben Kingsley, Lucy Liu, Josh Hartnett, Stanley Tucci and Mykelti Williamson. I thought it's was pretty enjoyable.

I came across this on Netflix yesterday while searching for something to watch. I didn't watch it at the time but now I'll be sure to give it a look.

If you like revenge flicks with quick witty writing you'll enjoy it.
