You know that scene in Stripes where Sgt. Hulka says, "I'm taking off my hat" and proceeds to thump Bill Murray? Well, consider this me taking off my Moderator hat for a moment and just speaking for myself.

You need to understand that when you're continuously showing your backside you get no wiggle room. No benefit of the doubt. No slack. If all you have to offer to the community is a snowflake's sense of self-importance, then perhaps you ought to just move along.

You're the drunk at then end of dive bar that most everyone ignores and the waitstaff bitches about. You probably don't even tip 'cause, you know, you're a regular and deserve special treatment.

If there was true censorship here then this thread would have never existed. The OP would have submitted the thread for posting approval, the mods would have said "no, this has the possibility of shedding a negative light on us. We will not allow it." And poof...no posts, no thread, nothing.

I personally know most of the mods/owners here. Been good friends with them for many years. Heck in the past they have even slapped my wrist and given me a few vacations. Each time they did it I didn't mention censorship or anything. The forum has rules. I broke em. I got asked to go eat a snickers. It made me angry. It hurt. But then I cooled down, came back, and all was well.

It is my hope that the OP, Murphy, whoever is all involved can just step back, realize that this is a private forum, the mods have a responsibility to monitor its content to keep it on the level within the guidelines.

All it takes is one customer grabbing the butt of a waitress and the ownership not stepping in and it's lights out for CFF. It's called implied consent.

I'm gonna ask but I pretty sure no ones gonna tell me what happened. Poor Murphy, I for one love the pic thread. If someone gets that thread removed they should be banned for ever. I'm going to look and it better be there.

Whenever a member is banned it is because they have knowingly broken forum rules, even after being warned. Many times they get several warnings.
Sometimes a member asks to be banned or have their account deleted. Usually, their wish is granted quickly.
Sometimes the member decides to act like a fool and be a nuisance for staff. Staff has better things to do that put up with this juvenile behavior.

I had gone on, as I do from time to time, to see if anything except a classified ad had been posted. Other than that whining SJW style tantrum, not much else wasn't a BST post lol

This site is a privately owned business and as such the owners can do any d*mn thing that they want to with regard to allowing posts to stand or deleting them. It's like the sign in a lot of brick and mortar businesses: "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone."

I don't know how it could be plainer than that.

The "dive bar" analogy is a pretty good one. There are a few areas here that are a little rough around the edges and you might not want to venture into the alley after dark. Dive bars also have BIG bouncers....

Common sense is a wonderful thing. Use it.
