I remember the night that the first gulf war started. I was playing basketball at my church and someone ran in and said the war just started. Everyone was like Heck yeah! Except one kid who just walked out in tears. That was the first time I actually realized the reality of others having family in the military.

Nearly every talking head in the media over the last few days spoke definitively of Assad being responsible. They didn't ask the exceedingly obvious question - what did Assad (or Iran or Russia) stand to gain from a gas attack? The jihadists and the countries funding them (US, Israel, SA) benefited from this gas attack.
These talking heads aren't complete idiots. They are in on the agenda.

It's a shame. We need to abandon the policy of involving ourselves and taxpayer money in the business of other countries. All of the people involved from all sides hate the U.S.
We have an unlimited amount of problems in this country. I don't understand why we should waste our resources getting revenge for the chemical attack on people that hate us. It will never make sense to me.

Remember this we can always pray God will give Trump wisdom to make the right decisions that will allow us to live quite and peaceable lives. I try to pray for our leaders everyday in this way whether I like them or not.

The only thing that could remotely qualify as positive in your statement is the fact that many of the people in this country that haven't stored away some water, food, and ammo, are the same people that don't like guns and routinely vote for politicians that are anti-2A.
I closely know a crap ton of folks that fit that narrative including my own brother and his wife.
Be a helluva way for the world to end. Survive the Cold War where we watched daily for any sign to attack each other only to die in a nuclear exchange squabbling over some shithole in the Middle East....

It might be tin foil hat time, but honestly, I've always felt that there were groups of rich, powerful people who wanted a 'war to end all wars' in hopes that it will bring the rapture, second coming, "insert favorable, religious end of the world scenario here" kinda situation.

I don't think you'll see nuclear options pursued.
I look for a more conventional conflict; long and drawn out to maximize profits. Not saying that nuclear weapons are totally off the table, but I can't see them being used as a 'first' resort.

Yep, both brothers and sister are like this. Hell let’s call it all my family call my dad don’t and I know my mom don’t.
Hate to be a cold hearted but,they all scoffed, laughed and ridiculed me when I told them they need to set stuff back. Hope they don’t come a knocking on my door for food water or ammo, what is mine is not yours. They all have better paying jobs then me and the wife so there is no excuse for them not too to put extra back when the family and I are barely making are still able to set stuff back.
Man, this past couple years have made me a salty old man at the ripe age of 30.
