Because War is all that backs the US dollar these days would be my guess......and we need a steadily increasing supply of “enemies” to keep the public scared and the War Machine in full production mode. It’s what floats our economy.
Some would argue it has a lot more to do with the fact that Syria doesn’t have a central bank beholden to the global banking cartel. In fact, you could look at a list of such countries and recognize the headlines from the last 20 or so years of American “humanitarian “ foreign policy....
In the year of 2000 there were eight countries without a Rothschild owned or controlled Central Bank:
- Afghanistan.
- Iraq.
- Sudan.
- Libya.
- Cuba.
- North Korea.
- Iran.
- Syria.
