The neighbor was warned that if the dog came back in his yard, he would be killed. The dog returned and as a result, it was killed. I think the reason my coworker was arrested, charged, and fined for killing the dog, is because he threw the dead dog back into the kennel.
Wow dude what kind of dog was he? I’m sorry to here about that.
Any idea what it was?
If it was a Coyote Kojak would have been eaten.
Unfortunately, there's no proof they (or one of them) did it.Sorry for the loss of Kojak but please call animal control and get those dogs impounded before they go to the next step and attack a human.
He was told there was nothing they could do. Typical.

Would dogs pull that fence out and away from where it was?
Seems like a human would pull the fence out to let their dogs in.....
I agree. Our old Lab would do it to get out (she hated to be left alone), and our male Great Pyrenees has pulled up the bottom of our current fence trying to get to predators on the outside.Dogs absolutely would.
I hate to hear that about Kojack. Something needs to be put down after doing that.He just sent me this.

But, I do think a call would be a good idea, if nothing more than to get an opinion of what may have happened.
Thanks!
ETA: Turns out he did call animal control. He was told there was nothing they could do. Typical.

If he broke it up he had to have seen the dogs involved So how is there no proof if he was an eye witness to the atta
Two different attacks in this thread.Did I miss something here. I thought you said in the op that your BIL broke up the fight. If he broke it up he had to have seen the dogs involved So how is there no proof if he was an eye witness to the attack?
