I haven't, but I would not be surprised. I can do a lit search in the medical databases had Duke and see what I can find.
That would be awesome if you have time.

Just over 36hrs into a 7 day fast. Down another few #'s. Going to see endocrinologist today. My sugars have been pretty good. Downloaded that Life app that @MadMardigan suggested for fasting, it's pretty cool.
I've read up on it, I have some stuff readyBe sure to read up on extended fasts like that, you need some pink Himalayan salt and other minerals during it.
I wouldn’t go farther then 3 days personally.
What app is that, and what kind of scale are you using?
I have an analog (i.e., "old fashioned") scale and a digital scale, and they are nowhere nearly the same....
Edited to add, that's really great work!!

Here’s some of the other stuff it prints out.
FITINDEX is the name of the scale also.
From a scale? Is it a magic scale? What information do you add?
It does.It had sensors on the bottom, I guess it runs a current through your body.

Great job!
Hey. That weight you lost? I found it.
Pick a place to meet and I'l bring it back to you.
Congrats, though!
Sounds like snake oil... Want to know where you stand, get a dexa scan. Pretty much anything else is a guess.
Immersion is great; but it needs to be done right. There is a variance based on technique.
Just about to hit my goal of 500 miles for the year in running (will hit it this week).
Weights in the gym are going up, though have gotten slower here lately. I am cutting calories still, running mostly OMAD IF during the week, and a 16:8 on weekends. The scale I have sucks, but seems to be dropping decent on weeks, and gaining it all back on weekends (I really don't eat that much!)
Down to 240, started this year at roughly 265, and started the journey last July at 300. Have 15-20 more to go, then will do a serious look and see where I want to go with it from there.
I hate running, I hated running, I will forever hate running. At least I have a for-real doc's excuse to not run. There are so many better aerobic activities, but anyone can run, anywhere, anytime: you don't need a machine or pool, all you need are shoes.
Following up on my 8/18/19 post where I made it from 198 down to 186 in 5wk. Now 5mo later and I’m at 179, so not only am I keeping the weight off but I’m continuing to lose a little over 1lb per month including the holidays when we often pack on a couple extra lbs.I’m 32 and up until 30 I could always eat whatever I wanted and struggled to gain weight if I tried. Well work & life were stressing me out so my Dr put me on some meds. I hate Rx but it did help.
Unfortunately it also caused me to gain over 30lb in a year. My cholesterol was also looking terrible. I tried a bunch of small changes, cutting back on sugars, cutting back on carbs, running 2-3 days/wk etc etc, nothing seemed to work.
Finally, I found a natural alternative to the Rx and it works. Sadly my body still wanted to be 195+/-. By this time I’ve made a bunch of changes to my diet, tried a few different exercise routines, and still couldn’t lose more than 3lb which is negligible.
I decided to begin a modified intermittent fasting about 5wks ago. I eat a small breakfast as 10a, refrain from large lunches, and don’t eat anything after 630pm. Since then I’ve been losing about 2-3lb/wk. I was up to 198, now down to 186. Trying to lose another 16 and maintain it!
