Might as well go ahead and start the thread for tomorrow, get the crap talk going early.

Sunday, Feb 11 at 6:30 EST is the time they plan to have kickoff
That said, the game-related stuff will begin about half an hour before that with the singing of the National Anthem, America The Beautiful, Walter Peyton winners (per team and overall) etc.

As stated in another thread - no dog in the fight, dont follow either one, but I'd like to see the 49ers win as they've not won anything in a long time.

Who you pulling for? What's on the menu for tomorrow?

Smoked shotgun Shells, smoked jap poppers, grilled wings, and clam dip for the menu. I just wanna see a good game and watch Mahomes pull out a few tricks along the way
 
I have no reason to like the 49ers. I do have two (admittedly weak) reasons to like the Chiefs.
(1) They are one of the teams from the AFL, back in the day, and I always liked the AFL teams.
(2) An NC State player, Joe Thuney, plays for the Chiefs.

Oh, and (3) so far, they haven't changed the name of the team to the Buttercups, or the Lambs, or the Alarm Clocks (woke, dontcha know). At least, not yet.

So it's Kansas City.
 
To each their own and for those watching, I hope you truly enjoy the game, but I have no plans to watch. I haven’t watched NFL since the kneeling started.

Additionally, there may be more shots of Taylor than the game. They have already started a Santa Tracker, but for Taylor, to see if she can make the game. 🥜

In regards to food for tomorrow, potentially looking to do Buffalo Crack Chicken Sandwiches!
 
Heading to the neighbor's at 4:00 to eat, bailing by 6:00 to pick my daughter up from work, and then will probably be playing video games before the game starts!
 
Niners . Would like to see McCaffery get a ring . Chiefs defense will do everything they can to knock him of the game ..
 
Not watching but pulling for Kansas City in spite of no fan of Patrick Mahomes, Brittany his wife, or that freak criminal brother of his. As for Taylor Swift, I could care less how many times they show her. She is a megastar and good for the NFL to lure in viewers. Oh, and Usher for half time show is a big draw as well. This game may set records for viewerships with Swift and Usher.

All i have heard is Taylor Swift was staring at the Usher concert today with her boyfriend and his buddies maybe playing a flag football game in the background. Whats this super bowl you speak of😃?


No real dog in the fight just hope its a good game.

the young ones head there to empty the contents of their stomach the preceding evening..
The really old ones visited the bowl numerous times during the night.
 
My son's birthday is on Valentine's Day, but we are having the extended family-wide party this evening, so we'll have the game on, the boys will watch, I will probably be in and out.

I really don't like either team so I don't care who wins but if someone twisted my arm I would probably prefer San Francisco.
 
The Superbowl used to be good for funny commercials and good food... Now I'm just in it for the good food... if we go anywhere, but it's pretty close to my bedtime by the time the game even starts.
 
I haven’t watched any sports except drag racing in 30-35 years, once I stopped playing sports I lost interest and then the baseball strikes happened in the early 90s and I lost all respect for grown men crying about “only” making a few million a year for playing a game…..

But with all that said, I was born in Leavenworth Kansas and I went to many Royals & Chiefs games in the 70s with the cub scouts & Boy Scouts so I’ve always liked both teams, I’ll pull for the Panthers & Chiefs if one of them make it to the SB but that lasts exactly 4 quarters of time and then I go back to not caring about sports again.

So go Chiefs!!!

When did you live in LV? I was born in Lawrence & went to school in Bonner Springs, Basehor & Tonganoxie & was in the Boy Scout troop in Bonner. Graduated from Tongie in ‘88.

Not a big sports fan, but the GF & fam enjoy watching football & I’ve actually come to enjoy it. I’ll wear a jersey on game days & her youngest daughter & SIL come over to watch the games with us, but that’s as rah-rah as I get.

Got the smoker going, doing a big batch of shrimp. Already done a run of “baked goat cheese”- big chunks of feta covered in bruschetta, topped with provolone & parmesan, smoked & eaten on homemade crostini, a smoked cream cheese & put the smoke to some store bought sweet & spicy brisket dip. Proper supply of good drink & smoke already dipped into 😆

Wings were out of stock, kinda upset. Will eat good though.

As too winner I’m torn. CMC deserves a ring and Purdy probably does too. Reid is a standup coach but Mahomes and Kelce, meh (he’s the lesser Kelce bro anyway).

That’s my problem. My alarm goes off at 4:10am tomorrow. So I think we’re going to some friends’ house for a bit, but will probably leave before halftime. And I won’t be watching the game while I’m there.

If it was next weekend, it would be a different story. I start a new job and my day starts a couple hours later going forward.
 
I'm rooting for the 49ers because I'm curious if Taylor Swift dumps her boyfriend if he doesn't win... Maybe writes a new break-up song to let him know.
