2024 Superbowl

Heck of a game so far.

We’re pulling for SF but only because all of us really like McCaffrey and were pretty bent when Carolina traded him.

Enjoyed watching him score a td a few minutes ago.
 
Since the ceremonies actually started I think they've only shown her twice so far

Yeah, more 'great' decisions by the Panthers, "lets get rid of him before he gets hurt and cant perform..."
 
I'll say this too - Ive paused the tv when Ive left the room, they arent showing much for replays (like that TD, they only showed one reply from the opposite angle). So Im behind...it's also my plan to skip through the halftime commentary.

That said, Im at 1minute left in the first half and hoping KC doesnt score ...but maybe they already have.

Im stoked for the Usher show, curious who else will come out with him to perform.
 
KC gonna win this game. It’s been the story all year the script gets flipped at halftime. KC 24 SF 20

I’m also behind. Pausing and all. Super stoked that the 9ers aren’t crapping the bed. And that the refs are calling penalties appropriately.
 
Weren’t the Chiefs further back at the half the last time they beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl?
 
Good Christ on the cross..I hate the NFL with a passion, but this Super Bowl has a special kind of hate for me. I wouldn’t turn the game on if they were paying me. I will ABSOLUTELY not watch it, but I imagine it is nothing but a Taylor Swift show that occasionally shows football.
 
I liked the Usher show pretty good, 2nd half of it better, to me, than the first

Not my favorite music style but, the choreography was amazing. Would be interesting to know what was pre-recorded.

Some of the commercials gave been fun. None have pegged my "excellent" meter yet.

I’m not a fan of most popular music from the last 15 years or so. Usher is no exception.

But kudos to him for actually singing live instead of lip synching.

I just liked how he got winded at the end.
 
I bet that pfizer commerical would make the heads explode of yeeha and stout

edit/add - say, 'would' as they surely wouldnt watch something like this program, too 'felonious' for them

Was talking with the boy tonight about great players from the past and fortitude.

I told him about John Riggins (the diesel) “Hey diddle diddle, Riggins up the middle”.

Showed him a couple videos. He was impressed.
 
I wish I’d have known where to lay a bet like that. I’d have thrown away $100 at a chance to win $75,000

Dude. Don’t get me started on the Tyson-Holyfield bet I laid that he claimed he wasn’t going to cover.

I threatened to whip his ass and he coughed up half.
