Grandma watched Hee Haw and Dad watched Lawrence Welk but none of it stuck. I think I have a few cheesey bluegrass CD's and maybe a Zac Brown one lying around from the wife. Oh, and a handful of Ryan Bingham's stuff. Most country isn't dark or blue enough for me. But there is a time and place. I have enjoyed a lotmof nights at Nashville 's music joints.
Which brings me to Ray Wylie Hubbard.
This is a great tune, especially when June tells Johnny to 'go comb your hair'.And with June
Huge fan of Don Williams.
This song comes on the radio and my wife's with me...yeah, I'm singing it to her. Personally, I don't think I sing worth a sh*t, but doesn't seem to matter much to her...still loves it.
