Fight hard.
Please do!!!!I saw on a military Forum that his chain of command is well aware of this man's actions, and he may not be a officer very much longer. If I hear anything more I will certainly update.

Update: more photoshop? Via GAB-
You're describing Antifa-eyes.He has the dead shark eyes of someone who, one day will become a clock tower sniper or some other type of mass casualty full-on nutter. Just watch and see...
He'd probably strip butt-necked and run backward through a corn field full of stiff-dicks.
Only after several swift kicks to the taint by a pointy-toed Tony Lama cowboy boot....This should be a Dishonorable Discharge for this crap.
Sorry, Irish. I thought it sensible to post this where the most soldiers, sailors, marines, & airmen might see it first.burried tightly away in a niche of the forum, I see now why my thread was deleted. Never venture over here.
Meh. I can make an exception for an ideology that has ALWAYS resulted in mass slaughter and, for those who survive, misery.Let him get a taste of real communism.
That said...remember this:
If you are not supporting free speech that YOU don't agree with- you are not supporting it at all.
Worth repeating.
The Army uses a badge with clasps for rifle/pistol quals instead of ribbons/medals. Of course, ROTC could use medals, but I don't think so. The images are a little too blurry (or maybe its just my eyes lol) when enlarged on my phone for me to really make out what the others are. Maybe @11B CIB can help make them out.
What happens when someone like this young man, with his expertise, decides to train those violent Antifa members? The thought of that does not give me a very warm and fuzzy feeling.
Good point, but I also worry about the Academy that either fostered (sickening to think) or tolerated the evolution of his mindset. I worry about his classmates, who don't recognize a malignant cancer, not to mention his instructors. I worry about the subversive effects he's already had in his unit(s). I worry about an Army that thinks even a wee bit of Communism might not be too bad a thing. What happens when someone like this young man, with his expertise, decides to train those violent Antifa members? The thought of that does not give me a very warm and fuzzy feeling.

My apologies for entering into a thread in this forum, as I am not a veteran and have never served. Somehow this popped up on my alerts though.
This guy and those like him really worry me. He may have combat experience and he may not. I don't know enough to be able to determine that. But even if he doesn't, he's got a heck of a lot more training in tactics than I do, and I spend a lot of time putting rounds down range. Apples and paper clips, obviously.
When we see videos of Antifa members attempting to use firearms it is pretty clear they have no idea what they are doing. Neither do I in a combat situation. But I might have some small advantage just by virtue of understanding how a firearm works and how to aim the thing. I might, in ideal circumstances, hold my own against a cutpurse by deploying my Buntline or rapier and yelling "Have at thee!"

1. There are rules against altering your military uniform in just such a way.
2. There are rules against making ANY political speech while in uniform.
Take the Uniform off and have at it on his own time. I'll support, and even fight for, his right to do so. But I'll condemn him till the day I die for doing it in uniform.
Good question, essentially. But his "coming out" has not been particularly sudden. Bracken speculated that he might want the career martyrdom that yields media/intelligentsia hero status for life. What does he gain from coming out now?
Start with father who's politically positioned in PA. Follow with Dem-chick congress-critter (likely) ran him up for candidacy at West Point. Islamic scholar professor at West Point was mentor...How did this guy get clearance with that much outspoken history as a communist?
The end game involves the terraforming of the institutions in which America has [foolishly] placed its trust. It’s no mistake that gun controllers and collectivists such as David Petraeus and Stanley McChrystal were flag officers, and even into the ranks of staff officers there were many like Lt. Col. Robert Bateman, who is well known to most of my readers. My son Daniel had some very direct thoughts about Bateman you might want to read again. You can add to that growing list of collectivists young, ideologically leftist officers like Spenser Rapone.
Interesting that he has the Ranger scroll, but no Ranger tab.
He with 2/87 of the 10th Mtn Div.
It's not too far-fetched of a notion. My guess is that he volunteered for RIP (or whatever they call it these days) while in jump school. He would have been sent to a Ranger Battalion immediately following graduation and served there as a non-tabbed guy until he reached the rank of Specialist, where he could then go to Ranger School.
He could have been deployed with the Battalion (or a slice of it ) during that time frame.
Thanks for the info. As a Navy/Marine guy this notion of tabs, baubles, beads, and badges is a bit beyond my comprehension. That said, a buddy of mine, a former 18D said his friend is a company commander in the guy's battalion, this guy is referred to (to his face) as "a tables bitch", and his CoC is well-aware of what's going on.
I retired Army in 2010 so my thoughts are based on thongs were in that time frame lol. Things may have changed a bit since then, so the scenario I prvoided could be updated by people who are serving now.
My guess is that he was assigned to a Ranger Bn early in his enlisted career and was deployed prior to going to the actual school. It's about the only way of having the Scroll on his right shoulder but no Ranger tab.
The only other option is that he's wearing it unearned but that's doubtful given his current rank. Someone (especially grunts) would have noticed and punked him out on it in no time.
I did just think of one other possible scenario, though: if he was assigned to a slice element unit that was attached to a Ranger Bn for a deployment, he could technically wear a Scroll on his right side legally.
The guy will end up toast in the end.
And I don't know if it means anything, but Lt. Scumbag actually said in the tweet that he was awarded the CIB for his efforts supporting the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America). Perhaps that was just snark?
So....not really related but kinda: I know a guy, an Army medic. Wears the SF patch on his right shoulder. He tells people he was SF. Oh, OK...are you tabbed? No, but I was with SF for combat operations. Oh, OK...we you in a combined task force outside the wire? No, but I was attached to SF. So after pulling teeth over semantics, it turns out he was indeed attached to SF...did out-processing physicals for the B detachment. Never left the wire. But good for wearing the SF patch on the right arms because he was with SF in a combat zone greater than some magical number of days.
I would like to see him toast...but believe what will happen, at worst, is a revoked commission and discharge, wherein he then becomes a living hero to the antifa crowd; however, knowing todays kinder, gentler army, they may just give him a slap on the wrist and tell him not to do it again, or...maybe lock him up and ask if he would like a sex change on the American taxpayer while he waits....not unheard of is it...
He completed RIP in 2011 and was assigned to 1/75 at HAAF. He is Infantry, hence the CIB...he did a turn in Afg with the battalion.
