I want to go out west with my Grendel and try my hand at long range Yote shooting, I watched several videos of a guy and his buddies who get paid by land owners to cull them, they have an electronic calling system that brings the critters in from a LONG ways off, you can actually tell the older wiser ones from the yutes because the older ones will stop about 600-700 yards out and survey the situation and 8 of 10 times they’re like “nope, I’m out” and bail, the younger ones literally run straight towards the call and get smoked, and watching the really hungry older ones use the terrain to mask their movements and make wide sweeping movements like they know something isn’t quite right but their belly is telling them “I gots ta know” is remarkable.
