Retired NY Corrections Officer on FOX Tucker tonight, he would like to see LEO's get EMT training since they are on the scene before Fire and paramedics.
Floyd was cuffed and on the sidewalk up against the building, no reason to put him in the patrol SUV, if LEO had EMT training, let me take your pulse, how do you feel, etc, interview him to see if he needs medical attention.
My take on this, Chauvin neglected to get Floyd medical attention after other LEO says no pulse, we should sit him up, (NO Chest Compressions). Chauvin "NO, he stays were he is". That is where Chauvin crossed over the line. He continued to use his knee on the neck up to and after Floyd passed out.
Not sure if the prosecution made a point of both men worked at the restaurant for security detail. Chauvin made this personal, not LEO business.
The other LEO's did not take steps to stop Chauvin, 'LT let me take him ok?', Chauvin should have let others take control because he had a history with Floyd.
