Cigar of the day

I had a problem over the Memorial Day Weekend with a couple cigars. One was a Romeo y Julieta and the other one was a Onyx. I found them very hard to draw and was about to throw them away. When looking at the cigar they felt very firm, more than normal. So I tried to roll them between the palms of my hand to see if that helped......it did!
Have anybody else tried this?

yes, sort of. I'll roll a tight drawing smoke between thumb and fingers to loosed it up. it can crack the wrapper, but oh well, if it wasn't drawing anyway. I also have a poker that helps sometimes. Usually only happens if my humidor is too damp.

Celebrating our freedom with a fine Diesel cigar and reflecting on those who fight to keep us free. "All gave some... some gave all." Enjoy your weekend.0703211446~2.jpg

Finally found a Punch that I like! Stopped by a local head shop that also sells cigars yesterday, to pick up enough sticks for the long weekend.
They had a Punch that I don't remember ever seeing anywhere, so I grabbed a couple.
I like!
They call it "Diablo".

Starting my Labor Day weekend with this H. Upman Nicarauguan by A.J. Fernandez. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten a restraining order against me... :) 0903211659_HDR.jpg

Just fired up a beautiful looking Diesel perfecto. Can't recall ever having anything from Diesel in the past. It comes out swinging, heavy pepper flavors. On the draw, retrohale and lingering on the finish.

I was gifted this Fat Bottom Betty. Gotta say, the heavy sweet to start with is not enjoyable to me. Hope it calms down.
