Well the brick-bat bridge washed away without a trace in February. The heavy treads are still there.

So, I replaced it with 10' pallets, 12 of 'em, and made an appliqué truss for each side. Just need some 2x10s for zero turn wheels to follow.

Mac, too bad you’re not closer. I’ve old school CCA treated wood I’ll be selling off after construction.

I plan to tether one end to a tree with a cable, so that in a flood, it will simply turn into the flow and land outside the bank.

When this'n breaks up and goes downstream in a tropical storm, I'm thankin' a Portable Drawbridge is in order.

With a squirrely zero turn, it was necessary to make it a track. Works good. Target area mowed, just before the rain.
