Here are a couple quick links to get started with Kodi on the Firestick. I may create a new thread in the future.
Installing Kodi:

No limit build:

Be aware that there are 2 versions of the No Limits build, one with and one without XXX content for those of us with kids.
Just an update for anybody interested.
I've had two Firesticks since Christmas, but have never messed with Kodi before. I decided to load it onto one of the Firesticks this afternoon.
At the first link above, there's an April '17 update at the top with a video. That's the only thing I used...not the rest of the info or the No Limit Build. It's ~24 min long and it made in real time. Since my internet was faster than hers, I was able to keep up the whole time. It even included a different build. The method in the video uses an app called Downloader instead of ES Explorer.
I loaded it up and tested it by watching the first couple minutes of Guardians Vol 2.
It did use the newer Kodi load (Krypton, IIRC, version 17.something instead of Jarvis 16.1). I really have no idea what all that means, but it worked. I'm not sure what the difference in builds is, so I'll use what I have (I think it was call Spinz something) for the time being.
Can you have two builds on the same device? Or do you load a new one and overwrite the current one?
ETA: just found an app to wipe the old build, and found No Limits for Krypton 17.1, so I'm going to give it a shot
ETA 2: after find a "best Kodi builds for Krypton 17" article, I'm loading CDTV Infusion instead, just to see; never got the "wipe" app to work...just loaded the Infusion, and honestly not sure if Spinz is still there or not
ETA 3: ended up loading the Titanium build instead, and going to give it a shot...tired of messing with this thing and need to use it before making any more changes/updates
