82's are great. I wish I'd bought a pile of them when they were easy to find C&R guns.

Yeah I saw them-. Really sweet looking finish and gorgeous wood grips. Mine don't look anything like that. They have the original black coat finish with some spots missing and black plastic grips. I did replace one set of plastic grips. Looked like at one time it had been used to hammer in a finishing nail...
I've debated fixing one or both of mine up to look more like Pirate's but there is a certain freedom to owning a less than perfect gun. Maybe I'll do one and leave the other as a knock-a-round shooter.

Yeah having a few guns you don't feel bad about abusing is nice. I've added a few polymer guns to my collection for just that reason. Somehow dragging a nice 1911 through the brush and mud doesn't seem right unless it is being used in combat.
 
That's a nice one mckenziedrums. Really like those grips! I'm not left handed but I have been known to experiment with shooting my pair of 82's simultaneously. It's not as easy as they make it look in the movies. I can shoot OK left handed- just not when I'm doing with my right hand too.

Specs on the unlimited gun? I shoot 3 gun unlimited with a m&p and vortex viper right now but have been throwing around the idea of going to a true race gun since pistol is my strongest of the 3.

I'd pick the czeckmate because it converts from limited to open. Basically, it's a factory kit that covers both divisions.
Plus it's chambered in 9mm major so it's Hella strong.
That said, I really like the Tacsport.
It shoots super soft.

Thank you. I think I have around 3,500 rounds through it so far, with a lot of dryfire draws. It's an amazing gun and lets just say it isn't slowing me down at all, lol.
My plan when buying it was to try my best to wear it out! But it's gong to be tuff because it is still just about as tight as the day I got it.

Now I understand how Gollum felt.

I'm waiting on it to show up at my ffl so I have not shot it yet. I actually gave the other shadow 2 away for the money that I had in the game. And also gave an SPO1 away to my nephew who played in the game but lost lol
