Drone chased my dog.

There may not be "laws" covering the trespass of a drone but I'll bet if a few get shot down there may be consideration for those laws in the future. Since there IS a law covering it if I shoot it, it stands to reason that a law covering where it can and cannot go should follow.
In the meantime I'll operate off the "law of the land" and if no one will do anything about it, I'll take it into my own hands.

I'm a law 'n' order gun owner, but if I don't like the law, I'll make my own law enforced with my gun. 'Merica

If an individual or individuals operate a drone over my property and do so at an altitude low enough AGL to harass, intimidate, threaten or otherwise be a menace to my family or my dog, by proxy, it is no different than jumping my fence, coming into my yard and doing the same.

Yeah, I will call the cops, but only after I have attempted to immediately stop what they are doing, whether they are on my property in person or there via a drone.

I am not anti-drone, but I am against invasion of privacy and/or f-in' around with my dog.

Taking it down using a Red Tailed Hawk would be epic.

Doing a web search of RTH= red tailed hawk and a stock listing.

Return To Home or Return To Land

Lol. My search history has so much RC stuff from when I use to fly it comes up as return to home lol

Now there's an idea, drone to drone combat...

Seems its becoming more common. I noticed one 2 weeks ago, hovering over my house. I looked up at it, and gave it a double middle finger salute. It suddenly climbed about 50-100 feet in altitude, and flew away.

A few days later I saw it over my house again, but this time it stayed high above.

I don't have a problem with one flying over my house to go somewhere else, but if its just hovering at a low altitude, in one place, over my yard, its spying. And I don't have patience for that.

This. If I still had my flying wing that was set up to fly FPV, I would kamikaze said multirotor just because my plane would survive while their multi would fall out of the sky.....

All BS aside, every time it happens, law your local law enforcement. Contact the FAA. Nothing will come from the latter, but there will be a paper trail. Pictures and videos of encounter will help your case

Don’t shoot it, you’ll be in trouble and will probably have to replace it. Sucks I know but it is what it is.

However, if they are flying it low enough to the ground to chance your dog, the. They are probably close by. Grab you a casting net catch the thing. Wait for said owner to come and get it.

Btw the number of folks that actually registered their stuff is a small percentage in the whole hobby. I never registered mine and won’t ever down the road. But I fly fixed wing and respect people’s privacy.

Jamming is illegal and well ittle RTH anyways. Just get a net and go the non lethal route
Can't believe someone from. WILKES COUNTY said don't shoot it. Lol
