Interesting stuff. Never understood the whole "carry rotation" habit. I thought handguns, like my rifles, should be accurae with smooth, crisp triggers. Precision was my tunnel vision focus and I never considered conceal carry or the real world nature of defensive shooting. Hated Glocks but could really shoot my friends' little 26's. Comparing my fast reaction hits between striker fired and double action hammer fired changed my thinking a lot. Great triggers don't matter here. Shitty triggers have made me a better marksman in the past and lots of champions are not hindered by Glock triggers at all. Consistent grip became a lot more important than sight picture, for example. I carry a Tristar CZ knock off without decocker, which I decided isn't a must have. If you get in the habit of safely lowering the hammer you will automatically skip the decocker when you pick one up. I have a couple and it always surprises me. Still the intrinsic safety of "safe action" pistols and their consistent trigger pull is a plus. I keep an M&P in the BR in case my wife had to shoot it, she could just put it down and not worry. One thing I definitely agree with here is penetration is a heck of a lot more important than whatever the hell the FBI tests are supposed to prove. E=MC squared. Energy is energy no matter how convincing slow-heavy vs small=fast debates wander about. I'm liking .40 if not 10 mm. Neither one are all that snappy as I once believed (before shooting them.) But Mr. Luger's original, now +P 124 grain ball, is still the world wide standard for whatever reason. As Billy says, they're all good if they hit something vital.
