Anyone have an MCK Roni and use an extended barrel in it? I'm getting a Glock 20 and considering an MCK and 6 1/2" barrel as a "PCC"/hunting option for it. With the braced chassis, an RDS/optic, and the longer barrel it would make for a great compact pig gun I bet
I have an CAA Gear Micro Roni Stabilizer MCK with Glock 19 Gen 4 and a Gen 2 CAA Gear Micro Roni Stabilizer with a 10” barrel using a Glock 19.
I did not modify my CAA Gear Micro Roni Stabilizer MCK with Glock 19 Gen 4 because I didn’t want to do extensive re-engineering to adapt mine for Suppressor use.
IGB Austria (from YRS, INC) from YRS, INC sells extended barrels for various calibers.
I have my IMI Kidon Pistol Conversion outfitted with a g17 and threaded Glock 17L Barrel.
My purposes have been for Suppressor use. These suppressors require more than just barrel changes, since weight and additional points of contact affect the Suppressor host.
Pretty sure there was a thread on arfcom outlining what was required to fit the extended barrel. IIRC the guy had to really hack up the front end to get it to cycle correctly.
I had a 9" 40s&w barrel in mine. I had to take it apart and remove the metal piece at the muzzle end to get it to function. It still felt solid and worked great, but it was impossible to remove the Glock without going through all that again.
I liked it because it moved the .40 muzzle blast farther away from my face and gave it a little more umph, but eventually even a Glock will get dirty enough to malfunction with a ridiculously oversized barrel and there was no good way to clean it so it went back to stock.
I also tried just a threaded barrel but even that prevented the Glock from being removed, and being able to switch from handgun to braced pistol is half the value of the thing.

Thanks for the replies guys. I don't really care about suppressor use. I do have a 40/10 neilson device for my Isis II .45 can but I don't anticipate using it much on the G20. My primary goal is to maximize velocity, as I know the 10mm picks up some serious speed with a little more barrel length.
Sounds like the effort isn't worth it though if you can't remove the pistol from the Roni. Still may get one just for GP...
