From Africa to Charlotte

Welcome and thanks for joining up with us here. We're hoping you'll find this site to be the very best internet hangout ever. Please reach out to others you know to join up with us here also.

And thanks for posting inside this thread so we can extend a CFF welcome and get to know you !

We're SO MUCH MORE than a firearms forum !

yes white, lol, and hostility is measured based on personal exposure and tolerance level I guess.
Another member's wife is from Pretoria. When she went to get her S.C. Drivers License...the Black woman asked her ethnicity. She said "AFRICAN". The woman behind the desk said you can't be African you are not Black. My friend's wife said....I speak 5 African dialects, how many do You speak?

DL says African American............because she...as are you....actually IS African American.

Glad to have you....come visit. You're welcome.......lotsa SAs here in Horry County.

Welcome!

I have a very good friend in Durban... he runs a CNC shop, wife is an oncologist, two kids almost out of High School... they are torn about whether to relocate here. They were invited by the State Dept. a few years ago, and passed after much deliberation. His stories are incredible, and they have survived every shootout that came their way.

Thanks for the welcome!
I lived in Durban for 8 years - lots of surfing and good food :)
Moving was tough, but the benefits far outweighed the costs for us.
And yes, the shootouts are real and happen often. Most of us survived. :)

Welcome from Durham, which is tamer than what you are used to.
