If so, you’re gonna be fishing stuff out of the pool after this weekend.
In July 2016, I grew tired of annually replacing my cheap Home Depot or WalMart leaf rake (the basket thing that attaches to a pool pole). So, I gambled $47 on one that claimed to have a lifetime warranty. No matter how well these are made, there’s just no chance they can last forever. At the least, the nylon basket will eventually become punctured.
After 6 seasons of use, there were some small holes in the net but I kept using it. Recently, the plastic cladding that covers the aluminum frame began to crack and fall into the pool. For sure leaving it under the sun wasn’t the way to preserve this product.
Almost as a joke, I sent an email to the seller, explained that the rake was finally unusable and included a copy of the original Amazon invoice. That was Friday at 5:37PM. Less than 4 hours later, I received a response thanking me for the claim, confirming that I had provided all the necessary information and advising that a replacement had been ordered.
All that was last Friday evening. Today, a brand new rake arrived. What more can one hope for?
