I agree on the investment comment. The shortages have been no fun to the reloader and I don’t see price decreases on any of this in the future.Yep. I have sets for my brothers guns and my uncles and some that were just a real good deal and some that I may want one day. I didn’t used to but with the way things are now I’d rather “invest” now than be without later when I do need it.
I haven’t invested in any extremely uncommon sets just to sit on them BUT I’m a 45acp/45LC/45-70 guy yet I had 357 and 380 and 9mm sets before I owned guns for them and now I own several of all of those.I agree on the investment comment. The shortages have been no fun to the reloader and I don’t see price decreases on any of this in the future.

Now, I do have dies for several calibers that I own but have never loaded the first round for.
You do realize that you just gave me a new goal. All the time. Now I load for over 80 calibers just cause I have the crap to do it. I think I need an intervention.
When I decided to build the 22 hornet I started acquiring components and reloading supplies. Somewhere along the way I picked up a set of Hornady dies, and proceeded to forget totally about them. Fast forward to January 2022 and the rifle is built. I'm getting everything out to load up some bullets and I get me new RCBS 22 hornet dies and set them up in the press. I go to the cabinet for something and find the Hornady dies. 😡
Anybody need a set of 22 hornet dies?
