Help me pick a Glock

So...I've never owned a Glock and honestly am confused with all the variants. I want a 9mm. But there's like 10 variants.

I want something I can easily carry (and conceal at times) but that's my only real requirement. I'm thinking a full size frame is just too big.

Let the Glock lovers plead their case!
 
Hard to go wrong with a 19. Been carrying one for quiet a few years now. I tried the 17, but always went back to the 19.
 
I am not a huge glock fan but I like the G26 and G43. I guess it just depends on exactly how concealable you are wanting it to be.
 
Die hard Glock-hater here...and he says if you're gonna have one, make it a G19.

Just typing that made me feel dirty...
 
The G19 is arguably the best all around handgun in the world. When you factor the relatively low cost, time proven reliability, hi capacity, easy of maintenance/simple desgn and availability of of a wide range of holsters and aftermarket gear. 19 or G26 with a G19 magazine in it.

you can never have two many.

Get a G40 for big work if you want to look operator while operationally operatin.
 
I love my 43. Some people aren't comfortable with 7 rounds of 9mm. I personally wouldn't buy a 26, If I went with another double-stack 9 Glock, it'd be a 19.
 
The 19 is the most popular. I carry a 32 which is the same frame just chambered in 357 instead of 9mm. I have full size, compact and sub compact Glocks and I always go to the 19, 23, 32 modes for carry. I also carry a 29 and 30 from time to time also. You can't go wrong with a 19. I would get a 23 and buy a 9mm conversion barrel for it. Can't go 9 to 40, but you can go 40 to 9. Just my 2 pennies.

Yes Metalliman27055 please elaborate. I carry a 19 and am looking to add a 26 to the heard.
 
Ok, let me throw an wrench into the discussion.

Why just Glock?? What about some of the other manufacturers like S&W, Springfield, Sig just to name a few. Have you considered any of these other fine options??

Go for it. My wife and I both carry a G19 or a G26. The G26 is an awesome little pistol with 10+1 capacity and it fits in shorts/jacket pockets. My wife bought hers new in 2006 and in 10+ years it has never had one hiccup. Add the Pearce pinky extension and it grips perfectly for us.
 
Glock 19, I can hook you up on a new one for a really good price. No one mentioned Gen 3 versus Gen 4 though and that might be some of the OP's original confusion. I prefer Gen 3 myself for my carry gun.
 
If I only had one to use for everything I would go with the 26. Then I would buy some G-17 mags with X-Grip adaptors and put some TFO's on that bad boy.

When you need to conceal fill it with the 26 mag, for the range or nightstand go all out with the 17 mags.

Yep G19 is my vote as well. Also it should be noted you can carry G17 mags in it for 17+1 instead of 15+1 capacity and it doesn't really add much to the size of it. I carry PMag 17s in my 19 all day long
 
I am going to go against the grain and say get a Glock 19, but only in a kweer color like mine:

i wouldn't limit myself to which "one" do I get. You can never have to many lol
