But you’d have to measure with the stock extended, as by definition a rifle is designed to be fired from the shoulder…so it’s well over 26” any way you want to look at it.Unless I’m missing something, if you’re thinking it’s not long enough, to be “legal” without NFA regulation the barrel has to be longer than 16” (in this case 18.5”) and the overall length must be over 26”.
I don’t have a virtual tape measure but I would hazard a guess that the length of the receiver, is 8” giving it an OAL of 26.5”.
