To breakdown the rockset, soak it in water - easy (easy that is after you read the directions instead of fighting the crap for 30 minutes and losing)Just spent 30 minutes with Google reading about red locktite vs Rocksett and how to remove muzzle devices set with both. There's all sorts of advice about heat, hammers, water, vices, and broken this or that. But most importantly I learned that red locktite is only good to 500 degrees, and I'm almost positive my suppressor gets beyond that frequently. Rocksett it will be at my next opportunity.
I knew I read that crush washer may cause misalignment. The 3 lug adapter I have can be best described at a thread protector with the 3 lugs sticking out the side. It only covers the barrel threads or just slightly longer which is why I was considering a crush washer. Timing isn't an issue so there are no shims.
