We have brightspeed internet service and they are terrible to deal with. They are neither bright or speedy lol. There is no cable or fiber near my house. What other good options might I have?

Do you use them and if so how has your service been with them?starlink

They sold me one, told me I had coverage, then when it wasn’t performing they told me about the prioritizing. I returned it inside the 15 day trial. If you have T Mobile coverage, their home hot spots are legit. They will literally tell you no if they are oversubscribed in your area.
Meaning they won’t sell you something they can’t deliver.
wtf. Weird. They are liars! They sold me one, told me I had coverage, then when it wasn’t performing they told me about the prioritizing. I returned it inside the 15 day trial.
T mobile and Verizon not in my area and to many trees around for starlink. Ugh
I don't want to have to climb it and change the light bulb lolwe know a guy that can install a tower
I have starlink and it works great. Much better than NoSpeed DSL. It’s not cheap, however. The equipment is about $600 and then if you want someone to install it, you’ll pay a few hundred for that too. You do need an unobstructed sky view to the SE I think it is, but mounting placement can impact that. We mounted it to the soffit of the roof and have an unobstructed view and can get upwards of 100mb plus.Do you use them and if so how has your service been with them?

$120.00 per month, which is slightly more than the fiber internet from Randolph Telecom that isn’t quite here, eff you very much Norfolk Southern.Whats the monthly rates look like?

I’ve been on Zoom / Teams meetings and downloaded files sizing in tens of Mbs with no hiccup. The upload speeds are actually surprisingly good too.not bad for a high speed mobile option, i could be working from the beach!
