Yeah but with that fuzzy image in the window I can't tell if it's a flat bed or for that matter if it is even a Ford. :eek: Or if the driver is a girl.

listen. my car tells me when i have 40mi left. that's enough to get home from work today, back to work tomorrow, and if i drive gently enough, back home again tomorrow. I can probably make it to the gas station the day after that.

Ok. Suppose you make it home and a storm hits that night and knocks all the power out? Top that off with a family emergency the next.day that requires you to drive 100 miles or so. I don't take chances. Comes from way back when my first company vehicles were diesel. Back then there wasn't a station with diesel on every street corner. Seen plenty of time on a road call where I was wondering if I was gonna give out before I got to a station that sold diesel. Now they all do.

I was half kidding. I feel a certain bit of anxiety when i get the "low fuel" warning, but I also keep a good few gallons of gas in my garage I could use in case of emergency.
It's very rare when I hit the 40mi warning and don't gas up pretty soon.
speaking of storm... so much rain coming down right now the whole world is gray...

No rain here. 86° and sun baking my brain while I clean up this tree the storm took out. At this pace it will take me a week.
