Looting

I can hear the news spinning a home invasion shooting now. "Why did he shoot that young man? He just needed food , water and shelter."

Well he was coming back for all that, but his hands were kinda full, toting the TV and XBox console...can't carry but so much at one time.

Down in Oriental, NC a local guide company parked a truck at the Town Hall with water, cleaning supplies and such with the basic note to please just take what you need. Quite a few people visited and only took a few things each ... and didn’t even try to do anything else. While Oriental is only about 1,000 people (of a varying demographics) it just shows when people pull together they don’t need to loot, steal, etc. When you have community rather than the various “groups” people rise to the challenge rather than stink to low levels like Wilmington and such.

The town has 1 LEO ... the Chief Of Police ... think Mayberry. They had no looting or theft from the Piggly Wiggly ... local shops ... boats ... homes etc. Quality of a community is about the people which says areas in Wilmington and such SUCKS!

This is low IQ looting.

And in between, there's an Ace Hardware. One power tool would be worth more than whatever you can fit in a shopping cart at the dollar store.

Yeah, but those are usually associated with performing some type of work or task...a concept that is, most likely, foreign.

wouldn't it be ironic if the entire housing project burned while those idiots were looting? It could happen next time....semi accidentally

The same hard working individuals that are stealing from the stores will protest the racism of closing them down when the owners finally decide they've had enough and board it up.

If I'm going to risk being caught for looting, it ain't going to be from a Family Dollar!

I am not at all implying they have this level of intelligence, but as a decent person if I was forced to loot to keep my family alive this is exactly what I would do. Even if I was caught...your Honor the door was already smashed when I got there. I had cash to pay for what my family needed to survive this disaster, but there was nobody there to take my money.
