Mass EF1 denials happening

"The compromise they reached with the ATF was that they wouldnt sell their undrilled baffles without a valid form 1 in hand."

Which makes no sense since you can't transfer a suppressor on a Form 1.

That's why I think that agreement, if there actually was one, might be the undoing of their plan.

So I got a denial the other day because I used plain paper instead of the correct fingerprint cards. That is total horse shit. I use the same card every time that I got from the ATF. I filed 3 form 1's at the same time. The other two were SBR's. Havent gotten anything back yet on those.

Dear eForm 1 applicant,

The National Firearms Act (NFA) Division received your ATF eForm 1, Application to Make and Register a Firearm. As a part of the application process, NFA Division must confirm that the making or possession of a firearm would not place the applicant in violation of law.[1]

NFA Division requests that you provide certain additional information so that it may determine whether your eForm 1 application to make a silencer may lawfully be approved. Specifically, please submit to NFA Division the following:

Pictures of the parts that you will use to make the silencer (the pictures should be clear and allow the identification of the parts photographed),

A description of the processes you will use to assemble or fabricate the silencer,

The product, model, or kit name, if any, of each device and/or part that you will use to make the silencer, and

The source from which the parts were obtained, i.e., the name of the store, website, etc.

The additional information may be submitted to NFA Division at the following email address: [email protected]. Please include the form Permit Control Number or eForm ID in the Subject bar for each correspondence with attachments. The additional information may also be sent by mail to:

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

so pictures of my drill and some coke cans and i should be able to get a F1 approved?

You know, the more you post, the clearer it becomes that as far as this NFA issue you care about only you and yours, the rest of the nation be damned.

A good summary of your arguments so far would be "I have my mill and lathe, so I'm glad the ATF finally shut the rest of you peons with your suppressor kits down. They never even should have let it get this far."

That's not exactly a "freedom" argument.

yea i got that on the first post and after reading all 7 pages, words and phrases like

Fudd

i support the 2nd but….

another one to the ignore list.

i’m above *insert whatever here*

come to mind.

though i will contribute that my last F1 was approved back in early 2017. late 2021 i finally got everything together and fianlly completed this week

Been a while and I haven’t seen / heard anything on this. Any new updates? Are these F1s still getting denied?

Lots of them are getting approved. Some with some documentation, some with a statement as simple as “I’ll make it on my lathe with raw materials I buy” included.

I've thrown a form 1 can through right before and right after this. Never said anything about how I'm making them. Seems like it was a phishing scheme to find smaller people selling kits.
